LegalAI is a software tool built for licensed attorneys. This page describes what the Service is, what it is not, and the boundaries of what AI output should be relied on for.

Not legal advice. LegalAI does not provide legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship with anyone. Nothing in the Service or on this website should be construed as legal advice for any specific matter. AI cannot replace the professional judgment of an attorney. Output should be reviewed by a licensed attorney before it is relied on, filed, sent to a client, or otherwise acted upon.

1. Who LegalAI is for

LegalAI is designed for licensed attorneys, law firms, and the professionals authorized to act on their behalf. It is not a do-it-yourself legal product, an attorney-matching service, or a replacement for a lawyer. If you are not a lawyer and are looking for legal help, you should consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

2. AI-generated output

AI will never replace lawyers. Our AI-powered tools assist lawyers with drafting, summarizing, classifying, and researching — but ultimately lawyers review, revise, and use their legal judgment on the final output of their work. Any output (drafts, summaries, analyses, research memos, contract redlines, transcript notes) is a starting point for an attorney's review, not a finished product.

You remain professionally responsible for:

  • Verifying citations, statutes, and factual claims against authoritative sources.
  • Confirming that any draft satisfies court rules, ethical rules, and client objectives.
  • Exercising independent legal judgment on strategy, filings, settlement, and client advice.
  • Disclosing your use of AI to clients where your state-bar rules require it.

3. No attorney-client relationship

Using LegalAI, reading materials on this website, contacting us through a form, or signing up for a demo does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and LegalAI or any of its personnel.

4. Jurisdiction and applicability

Laws and rules of professional responsibility vary by state and country. Examples, templates, or sample analyses provided by LegalAI may not reflect the law of your jurisdiction. Always verify against the specific authority that governs your matter.

5. Third-party content

The Service may surface third-party content (case law, regulations, public records, web research). LegalAI does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of third-party content and is not responsible for any reliance on it.

6. No guarantee of outcome

Past performance, demonstrations, case studies, or screenshots do not guarantee any particular result in your matters. Litigation, transactional work, and regulatory matters depend on facts, jurisdictions, opposing parties, judges, and many other variables outside the Service's control.

7. Limitations of liability

For the full limitation of liability that applies to your use of LegalAI, see Section 10 of our Terms of Service. You are solely responsible for any decision made or action taken in reliance on AI-generated output that you did not independently verify.

8. Questions

If you have questions about the scope of this disclaimer or how it applies to your use of the Service, reach us at info@legalai.com or through our contact page.
